Miscellaneous | ... | GUIDE FOR NEW STUDENTS Accommodation2002-2003 Campus Information KINGS HILL INSTITUTE x There are no residential facilities at the Centre. An accommodation list of local B&B and hotels is available and sent to all new students. Booking Rooms Rooms may be requested through teaching staff. Car Parking There is ample free car parking at the Institute. No advance booking necessary. There are 5 designated disabled parking spaces. Catering Where provided with courses, meals are served in the dining area. Although there is no refectory provision, soft drinks, hot beverages and confectionery may be obtained from the vending machines. Learner Support See materials within the Library. Opening Times The Centre is open from 08.30 – 21.00 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and from 08.30 – 18.00 on Monday and Friday. It is open on designated Saturdays. During vacation times the Institute may not open in the evenings. Please call to check in advance on xtn. 9900 Public Transport The nearest railway station is West Malling on the London Victoria to Maidstone East line with some services to London Bridge and Charing Cross. Bus number 123 leaves from the station and is timed to meet most trains. Taxis are also available at the station. Smoking permitted area Entirely non-smoking. Telephone/fax/mail Facilities for sending and receiving messages are available - please ask at Reception. Wheelchair access Building is all at ground floor level and is fully accessible to wheelchairs. There is a disabled toilet. | x0 | Back To:
